Glyn Afon Guesthouse Llanberis
3 Star Bed & Breakfast Guest House accommodation in Llanberis, in the Snowdonia National Park; is an ideal base from which to explore North Wales and the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia Mountain Range. Barry and Sue offer good quality accommodation at reasonable prices, whilst providing a unique opportunity for a quiet, relaxed break, with friendly hospitality; unfortunately we don't have any multiple occupancy rooms, therefore we are unable to cater for children. Some of our rooms have partial views of Padarn Lake and the Elidir Mountains beyond, a sight to behold as the sun comes up. We have walker and cyclist friendly accreditation from Visit Wales, welcome responsible bikers and we can provide secure storage for cycles and motorbikes.
Being centrally located in Llanberis, makes us an ideal start point for a number of walks from the door, whether it be a stroll around the village or a 1085mtr. Climb to the summit of Snowdon. The Snowdon Railway, Padarn Lake Railway and Country Park and The National Slate Museum of Wales are all within a 10 minute walk. For our more active guests, there is Scuba Diving in the Vivian Quarry next to the slate museum, walks to suit all fitness levels, cycling and mountain biking routes, mountains to scale and rock walls to climb.
The Guest House has 8 bedrooms which have en-suite facilities with shower. 4 double, 2 single & 2 twin rooms, situated on the first and second floors.
We have a small car park at the rear of the building which is locked overnight and there is overnight parking available at the front. We also have locked, under cover storage for cycles and motorbikes.
