From Llanberis you can walk along the Llanberis track or take the train to the summit of Snowdon at 3,560 feet (1,085 metres). Alternatively you can travel to Pen-y-Pass and take the Pyg or Miners tracks for a shorter walk to the summit.

Hafod Eryri Visitors Centre offers a selection of hot and cold handheld snacks and drinks

Hafod Eryri visitors centre opens as soon as access by train is possible in the spring the date is dependent on weather on the mountain, and it will usually close at the end of October. It is usually open from 10am to 30 minutes before the last train departs from the summit.
